PU or PVC – which material is best for which application?

The key difference: PU (polyurethane) suction hoses are many times more abrasion-resistant than PVC, making them the top choice for transporting abrasive solids such as wood chips, blasting media, or granules. PVC suction hoses offer a cost-effective alternative for applications involving gaseous media, vapors, or light dusts where high abrasion resistance is not required.
